Golf de Chantilly

France

Golf de Chantilly is one of the oldest and most respected golf courses in France. It comprises of two Championship golf courses that run alongside one another and a classic traditional clubhouse. Chantilly Vineuil is still considered by many as the best classic course in France. Opened in 1909 and designed by Tom Simpson, the superb layout is consistently voted one of the top five courses in continental Europe. This wonderful golf course has hosted the prestigious French Open ten times.

The second course, Chantilly Longeres is an excellent golf course in its own right with tight fairways and undulating greens. It is a slightly easier test of golf than the Vineuil course, but still has plenty of hazards to keep you honest.

Chantilly Golf Club has a traditional clubhouse that wouldnt be out of place at one of the great heathland courses in Surrey. Relaxing in the charming clubhouse is a lovely way to round off your day whilst savouring some of the great local fare cooked by the chef. It is a golfing experience that shouldnt be missed.
