Golf de Chantilly is one of the most established and respected clubs in France, featuring two championship courses set within mature woodland. The Vineuil Course, designed by Tom Simpson and opened in 1909, is the more renowned of the two and has hosted the French Open on multiple occasions. This par-72 layout is characterised by tree-lined fairways, subtle elevation changes and well-protected greens that reward accurate positioning.
The Longères Course offers a slightly shorter and more forgiving test, with narrower fairways and undulating greens requiring careful course management. A traditional clubhouse completes the setting. For those planning a golf break in France, Chantilly provides a classic and high-quality golfing experience.
