Royal Golf Club de Belgique

Belgium

The Royal Golf Club of Belgium – “Royal” since its foundation in 1906 is set on Ravenstein Manor Farm. The original course was designed by the King's architect, Seymour Dunn, of Royal County Down fame. In 1990 the main course underwent extensive modernisation by architect Martin Hawtree to give it its current superb layout.

It is a private members club with restricted access for visitors. The golf course is nestled in woodland and is a challenging layout with pinpoint accuracy and careful putting required to post a good score – the current course record is 65, held by local hero Nicolas Colsaerts.

There are good practice facilities and a friendly clubhouse, formerly the original farmhouse, to talk through your round over a well-earned drink.
