Royal Portrush Golf Club, founded in 1888 in County Antrim, Northern Ireland, is one of the world’s most renowned links venues and a historic host of The Open Championship.
The club’s primary layout is the Dunluce Links, a championship 18‑hole, par‑71 course originally designed by Harry Colt and later enhanced for major championship play. It is known for its dramatic coastal setting overlooking the North Atlantic and the ruins of Dunluce Castle, testing players with firm fairways, strategic bunkering and challenging winds.
Also part of the club is the Valley Links, a slightly shorter 18‑hole, par‑70 course that offers a high‑quality links experience in its own right. Although less demanding than Dunluce, the Valley still provides a thorough test with tight fairways and strategic greens and serves as a complement to its more famous sibling.
Together the two courses create a 36‑hole links golf destination on the scenic Causeway Coast, combining championship pedigree with classic Irish links character.
