Along the intracoastal waterway and cherry grove is where tidewater golf club and plantation's course is located. It's a well-regarded 18-hole course that's attracted a lot of fans since it first opened in 1990.
In a 2014 restoration project led by kris spence, the club extended greens, increased drainage, and removed hundreds of trees, fully revitalizing the landscape.
Eight fairways stretch around the cherry grove inlet or the intracoastal waterway, with some of them acting as âĢľsignatureâĢĿ holes. Nonetheless, some of the inland courses, such as the 7th and 15th short par fours, are similarly good.
The intracoastal waterway comes into play on holes 8, 9 and 16 to 18, but cherry grove frames tidewater's most exciting obstacles, with the 3rd and 12th holes on the salt marshes becoming the prettiest pair of par threes on the grand strand.
