Highlands Ridge – North Course is an 18-hole, par-72 championship golf course located in Avon Park, Florida. Designed by Dave Harman, the course stretches to over 7,100 yards from the back tees and is known for its wide fairways and elevated terrain which is rare for a Florida course. Inspired by New Zealand’s Kauri Cliffs, it features significant elevation changes, fast greens, and strategically placed bunkers.

Water hazards come into play on select holes, while multiple tee options ensure playability for all skill levels. Considered the more forgiving of the two Highlands Ridge layouts, it offers an enjoyable yet engaging round, making it a popular choice for golf holidays in Florida.
