Poppy Hills Golf Course is an 18-hole, par-72 championship layout located in Pebble Beach, California. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. and opened in 1986, it plays to 6,857 yards from the back tees. The course underwent a major renovation in 2013, improving drainage, turf conditions, and playability while enhancing its forested Monterey Pine setting.
Known for its tree-lined fairways, elevation changes, and strategic bunkering, Poppy Hills places a strong emphasis on accuracy and approach play. It is also the home course of the Northern California Golf Association. A popular choice for golf holidays on the Monterey Peninsula, it offers a quieter but highly regarded alternative to nearby Pebble Beach courses.
