Located on the outskirts of Puerto del Carmen, Lanzarote Golf Course offers a distinctive setting shaped by the island’s volcanic landscape. Designed by Ron Kirby and opened in 2008, this par-72 layout is routed across gently rolling terrain bordered by lava stone and natural rock formations. Wide fairways provide some margin from the tee, but well-positioned bunkers and a number of water hazards demand accuracy on approach. The exposed nature of the course means wind is often a factor, adding variety from one round to the next. For those planning a golf break in Lanzarote, it delivers an enjoyable and visually memorable test in the Canary Islands’ year-round climate.
