Fingle glen golf hotel first opened its doors in 1989 as a nine-hole resort. In 2002, it was expanded to a whopping 18 holes, with further changes made in 2004. This fun club offers tasty food and has a 12-bay driving range for those who want to practice before they play. Fingle Glen is a parkland course with a par of 70 and a length of 5,600 yards. while being short by today's standards, the course still offers a fun test for golfers at all skill levels. With several ditches flowing across the course, proper tee positioning is critical to a good result. The par-4 16th hole is one to watch out for; longer hitters will be able to clear the gap, but the majority of players will be required to lay up and smash a mid-iron into a green guarded on the right by a marsh.
