It's an excellent drive as you head south with the Irish Sea to your left side and the staggering Wicklow Mountains to your right side. The unimaginably excellent Wicklow Mountains are the most elevated in Ireland and offer shocking and consistently changing landscape as you travel through. The territory has been occupied for a huge number of years and the best spot to feel the history is Glendalough which goes back until the sixth century.
