Set in 270 acres of Cheshire 's finest parkland, situated one mile from the picturesque village of Prestbury, the Mottram Hall Championship golf course is the host venue for the 2013 European Senior PGA Championship. The 18-hole, Par 72 Championship golf course of 7,006 yards, comprising spectacular parkland fairways dotted with oak and beech trees and tricky, well-guarded greens, is divided into two nine-contrast circuits.

The front nine rolls softly over meadowland with its spectacular back-drop of the 18 Century Hall and gives the golfer many opportunities to score. The back nine winds through some lush woods and is a golf test that is much more difficult.
