Set in the countryside between Marbella and Mijas, Santana Golf Club offers a peaceful and well-regarded layout on the Costa del Sol. Designed by Cabell B. Robinson and opened in 2003, this par-72 course is built on the site of a former avocado plantation, with wide fairways and mature trees lining many of the holes.
The relatively flat terrain makes it walkable, while strategically placed bunkers and subtly contoured greens ensure it remains a thoughtful test. Water hazards feature on selected holes, adding variety without overwhelming the round. For those planning a golf break in southern Spain, Santana provides a relaxed and well-balanced course away from the busier coastal resorts.
