Vaucouleurs Golf Club

France

Vaucouleurs Golf Club is situated on a 100-hectare estate, between Paris and the Normandy coast. The club was founded in 1989 and is home to two fantastic 18-hole golf courses designed by Michel Gayon.

The two courses are very different in style but complement each other perfectly. Les Vallons is an inland links that stretches to 6,163 yards with a par of 70. Golfers that admire the great seaside layouts of Scotland will love this course. This challenging course is beautifully laid out and features thick rough and pot bunkers, making accuracy off the tee essential if you are to score well. Good golf course management is also important as strong winds can play havoc with club selection. This course is kept in immaculate condition and is considered one of the best of its kind in France. It has played host to numerous high-level competitions.

La Riviere is a more undulating parkland layout which offers a round of quintessential French golf. Each hole on the course is varied, technical and picturesque. This hilly course has a par of 73 and covers 6,710 yards. It requires placement over power and will appeal to golfers of all abilities. A truly beautiful course!
