The Bruyere Golf Club was opened in 1988 and is situated on the edge of the Brabant Walloon and Hainaut regions, so is ideally located for the multitude of courses in the region. It stretches out over the undulating valleys surrounding the Chteau de la Ferme de la Bruyre, formerly a historic abbey for many years and now a charming clubhouse surrounded by the golf course.
The 18-hole Chassart course has a selection of woods and water hazards, so needs a tactical approach to score well. The greens are tricky too, so some time spent on the practice green before you play will pay dividends. The highly technical nine-hole La Boscaille course is ideal for a practice round of for beginners.
There is a good golf academy and practice facilities. The 19th hole restaurant has a friendly atmosphere and good snack and main menus, all reasonably priced. Eat on the terrace when the weather is good.
