




Papago Golf Course is an 18-hole, par-72 championship layout located in Phoenix, Arizona. Designed by William F. “Billy” Bell and originally opened in 1963, it was fully renovated and reopened in 2008. The course plays to 7,333 yards from the back tees, making it one of the longest public courses in Arizona. It features a desert parkland design set within Papago Park, with wide fairways, large greens, and dramatic views of the Papago Buttes and Phoenix skyline.
Known for its strategic bunkering, elevation changes, and desert framing, Papago is also the home course for Arizona State University golf. A popular choice for golf holidays in Arizona, it offers a strong championship test in a scenic urban desert setting.
