Trump Turnberry – Kintyre Course - Golf Course in Scotland

About Trump Turnberry – Kintyre Course

Kintyre has undulating greens and fairways, as well as spectacular ocean holes and views, as well as all the hallmarks of a links course, such as pot bunkers, raised tees, and dense scottish rough. Steel used property that had formerly been part of the arran course as well as a new strip of land known as bains hill in his renovation.

The old arran course, which opened in 1909, had already been renovated twice after world wars i and ii. And because the restoration was so extensive this time, turnberry agreed to rename the island kintyre instead of arran, in order to preserve the geographic relation with the neighboring mull of kintyre.

Seven additional golf holes have been added to the original arran course on bains hill, a strip of land that runs along the ayrshire coastline. These holes can be found along the coast's elevated terrain.
