Il Picciolo

Il Pìcciolo Golf Club is close to the hotel and has a fine 18-hole golf course located in an enchanting setting of woodland and vineyards with oak, hazelnut, pine and eucalyptus trees flanking the fairways. It was the first golf course built in Sicily in 1989 by the architect Luigi Rota Caremoli. The course is a par 72 and adjacent is a driving range, putting and pitching greens.

The course is undulating and has a mix of water hazards and well-placed bunkers. The greens are tricky and well protected, so careful placement off the tee is needed to set up your approach shot from the right position. The highlight of this course is the breath-taking beauty of the landscape. It doesn’t matter how good or bad you play, you will take away the memories of playing golf in a very special place.

The Palmento restaurant at the clubhouse is deservedly popular. The large patios have superb views across the local region, perfect for relaxing after your round.
