Prague City Golf Club (Zbraslav Course)

Czech Republic

The design of this 18-hole course in Prague was inspired by Scottish links courses. British architect Jeremy Ford and German golf professional with Czech roots Alex Čejka were among those who participated in the design and construction of the course, with their ideas finally being realised by Scottish shaper Mick McShane.

The green has a sporting character, but it is also intended for regular recreational play. The specialties include dramatically modeled greens, the spill offs – artificially created embankments with free-growing grass, vast sandy wastes with red sand and classic links pot-shaped bunkers. In 2023, the course was expanded with new holes and a new, modern clubhouse building, which is located at the end of the village of Lipence.
