Golf du Château de Chailly is set within a historic estate in the Burgundy region of France. Opened in 1990 and designed by Thierry Sprecher and Géry Watine, this par-72 course is laid out across gently undulating parkland with mature trees and water features influencing several holes.
The layout features raised, well-protected greens and strategically placed bunkers, placing an emphasis on accuracy from the tee and on approach. The par-3 11th, played over water with views of the château, is one of the more notable holes. Measuring just over 6,700 yards, the course provides a balanced and accessible test. For those planning a golf break in France, Chailly offers a relaxed round in a château setting.
