Garden Golf de Lacanau

Lacanau is one of the best golf courses in the Bordeaux region and is set in a mature pine forest just a short distance from large sand dunes and beaches on the Atlantic coast. It is an internationally renowned golf course on the doorstep of the great wine region of Medoc.

The golf course is known for the year-round fantastic condition of its fairways and greens. There are plenty of testing holes, many with dog-legs and well-placed bunkers along with some interesting features, including an ancient well in the middle of the 18th fairway.

Lacanau opened in 1980 and has retained a great reputation in the region. It is worth a visit if staying in or around Bordeaux or you can stay on the coast in the town of Lacanau and combine golf with a relaxing holiday. Either way, you are sure to enjoy this course.
