The Essex Golf & Country Club (Championship Course)

England

Measuring up to nearly 7,000 yards, this par 73 woodland course has won critical acclaim for its challenging yet fair features. A flat course, it’s one of the best draining courses in the area, with a range of water features requiring careful thought and accuracy.

The 3rd Hole (Par 4) is one of the most challenging holes at 452 yards off the yellow, 470 yards off the White, and 353 yards off the red. This hole needs two good hits to make a par or better.

The signature 13th hole (par 4) features a few strategically placed bunkers to challenge all levels of golfer! With water all down the left-hand side, it’s a tough driving hole - even hitting the fairway does not always guarantee a par.

The 18th Hole makes for a great finishing hole in front of the club house. This par 5 is well in range, though the water around the green makes the 2nd and 3rd shot a gamble. A risk and reward hole to finish!
