The Meyrick Park Championship Course is an 18-hole parkland course set within 120 acres of mature woodland near the centre of Bournemouth, England. Originally laid out in 1894 by course designer Tom Dunn, it is one of the country’s oldest courses.
The course plays to a par 69 and measures just under 5,800 yards, placing emphasis on accuracy and course management rather than length. Tree-lined fairways, natural undulations and well-placed bunkers create a strategic test for golfers of all abilities. The demanding opening par-3 has been described by commentator Peter Alliss as one of golf’s toughest opening holes, while the long par-5 14th is widely regarded as the course’s signature hole.
