Damme Golf & Country Club

The closest golf course to Bruges, Damme is a 27-hole parkland golf complex with three contrasting loops of nine-holes to give visiting golfers a varied choice to play. The 18 hole Championship Course, the original layout, is a challenging 6805 yards from the back tees. The course requires strategic thinking as it runs between the trees and water hazards, rewarding your good shots whilst quickly punishing any mistakes.

The new nine-hole ‘President’s Nine’ was opened in 2014 and has the feel of a links course as you play along the valleys between sand dunes. There are water hazards on all of the holes and it is very much a risk and reward course, tempting you to take on shots that may or may not come off.

There is also a short nine-hole pitch and putt, ideal for a quick 9 holes to improve the short game. The indoor and outdoor golf academy and practice areas are very extensive and the clubhouse is warm and welcoming and serves excellent food at a reasonable price.
