Old Marsh Golf Club

USA

Old marsh golf club's 18 holes are situated in the center of a 450-acre private residential community where the fairways and mother nature fit in seamlessly with the wetland surroundings. The sandhill crane on the club's logo emphasizes the connection to nature even more.

The course, which was designed by pete dye in the mid-1980s, has consistently placed high on the âĢľbest in florida stateâĢĿ list since its inception, and it has a well-deserved reputation as one of the best new courses in the world.

Old marsh was redesigned in 2004 by its legendary architect to preserve its playability in the new period, and the fairways here are still as difficult to navigate today as they were more than two decades earlier, when advancements in golf technology threatened to make many courses redundant.

The course is not very narrow, but golfers who wander too far from the fairways will find the marshlands punishing, so the lesson is clear: stay on the tightly cropped turf.
