Black Mountain (East & North)

The nordic group of investors built the black mountain resort, so it's only fitting that swedish golfer johan edfors won the first professional tournament held on the course, the asian tour-sanctioned black mountain masters, in 2009.

The east and north nines at black mountain golf club, which were designed by phil ryan of pacific coast architecture in 2007 to cater for championship and resort-style golfers, are situated close to the beach resort of hua hin, a long-time vacation spot of the thai royal family.

The main course is set in a mountain gorge, with creeks built into the architecture and many of the holes framed by distinctive native red grass. The pool around the island green on the par four 4th hole and the waterfall to the left of the green on the shallow 11th hole are two of the most popular water hazards.
