King’s North is an 18-hole, par-72 championship golf course located at Myrtle Beach National Golf Club in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Designed by Arnold Palmer and originally opened in 1973, it was extensively redesigned by Palmer in 1996. The course measures approximately 7,000 yards from the back tees and is one of the most recognised layouts on the Grand Strand. It is known for its bold risk-reward design, including the famous par-5 6th hole “The Gambler,” featuring an island fairway option.
With water hazards, strategic bunkering, and dramatic hole design throughout, King’s North is widely regarded as one of Myrtle Beach’s premier public golf experiences and a popular choice for golf holidays in South Carolina.
